Our coos

Our "coos" (Scottish for cow) are pure-bred, Miniature Galloways. Galloway are the original Scottish cattle and one of the oldest established breeds in the world.

They are naturally polled, have gorgeous shaggy winter coats and are generally quiet, gentle cattle.

Ours are all pets (aka our "paddock pups") and they enjoy treats and a brush most days. Featured below are our core, breeding cattle although we occasionally have young progeny which we sell as paddock ornaments and pets.

Brae

aka Fatima (or the Fat One)

Brae is our big, boss girl. She is part Galloway, part labrador and LOVES her food. Brae hails from Tumblegum lines and was raised at Gold Creek before moving to warmer climes her on the Mid North Coast.

Rosslyn

& baby Wallace

Roz is our gentle mama to our little calf, Wallace.

She loves to have her chin scratched and will do pretty much anything for a biscuit of lucerne. She is sister to Brae.

Lilly

Lilly is our young, black heifer. She consistently believes the grass is greener on the other side of the gate and is a known escape artist.

She's the teenager of the gang and comes with a bag load of attitude.

Stirling

... the bull

Stirling is our big, sooky bull.

He will always approach for a head scratch and a snack. He is rarely apart from his little mate Victa who came with him from Oxley Island Miniatures.
